MetaFlow Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using MetaFlow ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

MetaFlow is a macOS application that helps app developers manage their App Store Connect metadata and screenshots. The App provides local editing of app metadata in multiple languages, AI-powered translation services (via your own API keys), screenshot management and organization, direct publishing to App Store Connect (via your API credentials), and bulk editing and workflow automation tools. Important: MetaFlow is a productivity tool that connects to external services using your credentials. We do not host, store, or process your data on our servers.

To use MetaFlow, you need:

• macOS 14.0 or later
• An Apple Developer account with App Store Connect access
• App Store Connect API credentials (API Key)
• Optional: API keys for AI translation services (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or DeepL)

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own API credentials. You must keep your App Store Connect and AI provider credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur using your credentials. You must comply with the terms of service of third-party services (Apple, OpenAI, Google, DeepL). You are responsible for any costs incurred from using AI translation services. You are responsible for all app metadata, descriptions, and screenshots you create or edit. You must ensure your content complies with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines. You must not use the App to create or publish misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content. You retain all ownership rights to your content. You must use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must comply with Apple's App Store Connect API terms and conditions. You are responsible for proper licensing and rights to any content you publish.

AI translation features connect directly to third-party services using your API keys. We do not control the quality or accuracy of translations, store or process your translation requests, or take responsibility for costs incurred from AI services. AI translations are provided as a convenience tool. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all translations before publishing, ensuring translations are accurate and appropriate, and complying with App Store localization requirements.

MetaFlow offers subscription-based access. Subscription details and pricing are displayed in the Mac App Store. Subscriptions are billed through the Mac App Store. Payment is processed by Apple. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You can manage subscriptions in your Mac App Store account settings. The App may offer a developer mode with mock data for testing purposes without requiring credentials. Refunds are handled according to Apple's Mac App Store policies. We do not have direct control over refunds.

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent any security features
• Use the App to harm, harass, or defraud others
• Share or resell your access to the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage or overburden third-party services
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

All content, features, and functionality of MetaFlow, including software code and algorithms, user interface and design, logos, trademarks, and branding, and documentation are owned by MetaFlow and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your app metadata and descriptions, your screenshots and images, and your App Store Connect data.

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy or reliability of results, and compatibility with future macOS or App Store Connect API changes. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of App Store Connect, OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepL, or any other third-party service. We do not guarantee that the App will remain compatible with future API changes. Service interruptions by third parties are beyond our control. MetaFlow does not guarantee your app will be approved by Apple. We are not responsible for App Store review outcomes. You are solely responsible for compliance with App Store guidelines.

All data is stored locally on your Mac. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your Mac using Time Machine or other backup solutions, exporting important data before major macOS updates, and keeping copies of your metadata and screenshots. We do not provide cloud backup or sync services. If you lose your data due to hardware failure, macOS issues, accidental deletion, or app uninstallation, we cannot recover your data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaFlow and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities, costs from using third-party services (AI translation, etc.), issues arising from App Store Connect API changes or outages, rejection or removal of your apps from the App Store, damages from bugs, errors, or data corruption, or damages from unauthorized access to your credentials. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MetaFlow and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content and app metadata, your violation of these Terms, your violation of third-party rights or terms of service, or your violation of App Store guidelines.

We may release updates to fix bugs, add features, or ensure compatibility. Updates may require the latest macOS version. Some updates may change or remove features. We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date, posting a notice in the App, and requiring acceptance of new Terms before continued use. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling the App or cancelling your subscription through the Mac App Store. We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the App or third-party services, are required by law, or the App is discontinued. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately, your local data remains on your Mac until you delete it, and subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's Standard EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and MetaFlow regarding the use of the App.
