MetaFlow Privacy Policy

MetaFlow ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our macOS application.

MetaFlow is a local-first application. All your app metadata, screenshots, and App Store Connect credentials are stored locally on your Mac. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data, app content, or API credentials.

We do not collect the following information:

• Your App Store Connect credentials (stored only in macOS Keychain on your device)
• Your AI provider API keys (OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepL)
• Your app metadata, descriptions, or keywords
• Your screenshots or other app assets
• Your App Store Connect data
• Any personally identifiable information

We collect only anonymous, non-identifiable usage analytics through RevenueCat and basic app telemetry:

• Anonymous user ID (generated by RevenueCat)
• Device type and macOS version
• App version
• Platform information
• Feature usage statistics (which features are used, not what content)
• Crash reports and performance data

The anonymous analytics data is used solely to understand which features are most used, identify and fix bugs and crashes, improve app performance and user experience, and make informed decisions about future features.

All your working data is stored locally on your Mac including app metadata and descriptions, screenshots and images, draft versions and edit history, App Store Connect API credentials (in macOS Keychain), and AI provider API keys (in macOS Keychain). MetaFlow does not sync your data to any cloud service. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly publish to App Store Connect (data goes directly from your Mac to Apple) or use AI translation services (text is sent to your chosen AI provider).

When you publish metadata or screenshots, data is sent directly from your Mac to Apple's App Store Connect API using your credentials. We are not involved in this transmission. If you choose to use AI translation features, your app metadata text is sent to your selected provider (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or DeepL) using your API key. This is a direct connection from your Mac to the AI service. We do not intercept, store, or have access to this data.

We use RevenueCat for subscription management and anonymous analytics. RevenueCat collects anonymous user ID, device and platform information, and subscription status and transactions. Learn more at RevenueCat Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

All sensitive credentials (API keys, tokens) are stored in macOS Keychain. Local data is stored in your Mac's application support folder with standard macOS file permissions. Connections to external services (App Store Connect, AI providers) use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). We do not transmit your data to our servers because we don't have any servers.

You have complete control over your data:

• All data is stored on your Mac and can be deleted by removing the application
• You can revoke App Store Connect access at any time through your Apple Developer account
• You can revoke AI provider access by removing your API keys from the app

Local data persists until you delete it or uninstall the app. Anonymous analytics data is retained according to RevenueCat's policies. We do not retain any of your personal or app-specific data.

MetaFlow is designed for app developers and requires an Apple Developer account. It is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

MetaFlow can be used anywhere in the world. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there are no international data transfers to our systems (because we don't have any). However, if you use AI translation or publish to App Store Connect, data may be transferred to those respective services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with the app, updating the "Last Updated" date, and displaying a notification in the app for significant changes.
